 Responsibilities will include performing fusion and mechanical splicing of fibre optic cables in both aerial and underground environments, ensuring precise alignment to minimise signal loss.

You will assist in the installation of fibre optic networks, deploying cables and splice closures, and conducting thorough testing using optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDR) to diagnose connectivity issues.

Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of splicing activities, cable layouts, and test results, ensuring accurate documentation for project management. 

 In this role, you will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals. 

You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and on-budget delivery. 

Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies, and maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status. You will have to oversee compliance.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting site assessments, analysing geotechnical data, and developing detailed engineering designs for telecommunications installations, including towers, conduits, and underground facilities. 

You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that projects meet all technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
